Key themes

Sub themes

Code

Meaning unit

Personal

Time constraints

Lack of time

I do not do physical activity, but I truly like it, but I do not have the time.

Motivation

A person exercises with motivation and achieves an ideal body.

If a person is motivated and wants to exercise, burn calories, lose weight, and achieve that ideal body, she can certainly do it in any situation.

Postexercise fatigue

Fatigue after exercise

Fatigue after exercise bothers me a lot, maybe it is because of wrong sports movements or inappropriate sports equipment.

Household priorities

Putting everything before themselves.

Ladies prioritize everything over themselves; it is a form of self-sacrifice, as they do not put themselves first.

Low awareness level

Not needing

I do not need to exercise because there’s a lot of housework to do.

Social

Need for companionship

Not having a workout partner

If you do not have a partner at home and want to exercise alone, you might do it for one or two days, but by the third day, you might not do it anymore.

Lack of support of significant others

Cooperation among families or spouse

If we’re going to exercise at home, there needs to be some cooperation, whether among family members or between spouses.

Spousal restrictions

spouse’s permission

If we want to go to the gym, my spouse’s permission is necessary.

Environmental

Exercise place

Traffic, distance, and high costs.

I had decided to go to the gym, but I did not go because of the traffic, the distance to the gym, and the costs involved.

Sports equipment at home

Skipping rope or a hula hoop at home.

Now, if there’s something cheaper, like skipping rope or a hula hoop for the waist, which do not cost much, and someone wants to exercise, they can use those.
